Crafty folks! There are four craft-quality fox tails plus two new lots of antler/etc. bits for making stuff with up on my Etsy shop. You can see what’s what at http://thegreenwolf.etsy.com :)
Source. (As in, where to buy this gorgeousness.)
Last night I uploaded a new bunch of carabiner tails, fox and otherwise! These are just a few of what’s now up at http://thegreenwolf.etsy.com :)
I love this knife I named it lulu :) :) :)
where can i get that?
Okay, a couple of things of varying importance:
First, be aware that depending on where you are, this could be considered a concealed weapon; in some places comb knives are completely illegal to possess. If you just want to have it at home, that’s fine, but otherwise be aware of your state (and local) laws before taking it out with you. Also, be aware that if you’re under 18 that may also prohibit you from owning knives an adult could have, so there’s another layer of legal awareness to have.
Second, note that despite being listed on Etsy, this is NOT a handmade item; it is mass-marketed, probably in China and made by underpaid, overworked laborers. If you buy from this seller you’re just supporting the further flooding of Etsy with factory-made items. (Despite recent policy changes, Etsy does not support not-handmade items.). Also note that this seller hasn’t even mentioned the length of the blade on the listing (probably 3 1/4” if it’s the same model I think it is), nor have they said anything about potential legal issues for uninformed buyers. All of this makes me think they’re not worth giving money to, but that’s a personal bias.
Quick note to say I uploaded some new earrings, bracelets, and necklaces I made—these pics are just some of what’s available! And there are some things that can be sent internationally, too :) All at The Green Wolf Etsy Shop!
Wow! I had a serious run on tails in my shop in the past week, so I made some more and added them last night. These four are just a few of what’s available at http://thegreenwolf.etsy.com :)
Recently I was fortunate enough to source a couple of dyed deer rawhides, one red and one black. As it turns out, they made absolutely stunning drums! The black ones are solid and deeply colored, and would look great as-is or with silver line painting. The red ones, as my partner joked, look rather like young dragon hide! There are four of each in sizes ranging from 8” to 15”, all at http://thegreenwolf.etsy.com/
And as with all my other drums, there are mp3 recordings of the exact drums I’m selling linked in their individual descriptions, so you know the voice of the drum you’re buying!
So, the first batch of drums is up on the Green Wolf Etsy shop! I’ve just listed 5 each of whitetail deer, European red deer, and American elk rawhide drums, in sizes ranging from 8” to 18” in diameter. Each one comes with its own hand-painted, handmade beater. And every drum head and bit of lacing was hand-cut by me from hides that I personally selected. Whether you need a small drum with a high tenor or a big one with a deep boom, you can hear all the drums’ voices in the mp3s that are linked in their descriptions, so that you know exactly what you’re getting.
Check them out at the Green Wolf Etsy shop and watch for the next round of drums to be listed this evening!
These are all wood carvings by Philip Roets. I think I have a new artist crush.
Over the weekend at OryCon I had a bag of leather scraps from old coats and some slow moments between customers, so I made a bunch of pouches, then embellished them when I got home. They’re up on Etsy now; these are just a few of the new goodies! They’re all at the Green Wolf Etsy shop :)
