harrowindustries asked: Yes, but there are a number of people and organizations within the feminist movement who are pretty damn awful, and a lot of them are quite vocal and which a huge number of feminists respect and quote to this day, such as Valerie Solanas, Robin Morgan, Andrea Dworkin, Ti-Grace Atkinson, NOW, FEMISA, and quite a few more. There are better, more self-aware, less baggage-filled organizations. I'm not saying feminists are bad people, I'm saying that feminism as a whole has a lot of bad apples.
I agree there are bad apples; I don’t agree that the solution is to abandon feminism entirely, I’d rather reclaim it. But I can see where you would make your decision accordingly.

I agree, and I don’t think white women like myself have the right to abandon it. I’ve reaped the benefits of white female privilege, and Feminism needs to be rebuilt with intersectionality at the forefront, that won’t happen if we walk away.

I respect those people listed because they actually made feminism about women, which it is supposed to be. This third wave feminism makes feminism about men. Post modernists try to erase female existence.
