I discovered neopaganism in the mid-1990s, and shortly thereafter began my work with animal totems and neoshamanism. Over the years I've wandered through various paths, ranging from Wicca-flavored neopaganism to Chaos magic, but for the past few years I've been creating Therioshamanism, a post-industrial neo-shamanic path. I've also been creating various neopagan ritual tools and other sacred art from hides, bones, beads and other such things since about the same time. And I've written several nonfiction books on totemism, animal magic, and related topics. Currently working on "New Paths to Plant and Fungus Totems".

I meet your douchebaggery with some more comic book porn. You’re an embarrassment to our religion and a complete cunt. How dare you mock people for their interests when they are trying to learn about our religion? You bring shame to the Gods and our ancestors.

Believe it or not, the Havamal teaches us to be hospitable to guests and to respect our kin. IT DOES NOT TELL US WE CAN’T MASTURBATE TO HOT GUYS.

The Christianity tag would be happy to have your homophobia and sexual-negativity, I am sure.

I can see why it would bother fuckyeahasatru, because in a way it gets under my skin a bit (not because it is homosexual, but because it is of the gods), but they should at least try to give people a chance and let them learn about the religion if they want to. It’s not right to turn people away.

I really don’t get the ‘it’s the gods’ thing. I guess I just don’t take any of the gods seriously enough to get offended on their behalf over this stuff.

If I could art, I’d be arting some porn of Hekate and Hermes, just because.  Because the love of the gods has been a popular subject for art since… IDK… forever?  It’s not like fan art is the first art to ever draw the gods during impropriety, or to invent new pairings for them to be scandalous in.

Bolded witchy’s point, because MARVEL FANART. Why the fuck get your panties in a twist over Marvel characters? Hm? They are not the full, or even a good portion, of what is either deity. Their motives are not the same, they do not operate the same, Danu’s tits there’s even the question of whether or not their just delusional superhumans depending on which writer you go with!

There is no such thing as a sacred cow that cannot be slaughtered. Or at least cow-tipped in a dark field somewhere while giggling, easily-entertained teenagers run like hell.

Really, though, if LokixThor threatens your religion, you’ve got some serious insecurity going on. And getting offended on the behalf of a deity has led to little but trouble in the history of humanity.
